Indian batter Virat Kohli was seen joking around with his batting partner Shubman Gill in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka. Batting first, the Men in Blue, despite losing captain Rohit Sharma in the first over, had an incredible start courtesy of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill.

The du o posted an 189-run stand before Gill departed at a score of 92 in 92 balls. During this magical partnership, V irat Kohli jokingly hit Shubman Gill around the groin during the short break between overs. Kohli and Gill have often shared this fun relationship where Virat rags Shubman during games.

Further talking about the game, this fixture was Indian captain Rohit Sharma's first match at his home ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Speaking about playing at home the Indian captain shared how this is a great honour for him.
