India are locking horns against Pakistan in the much-hyped Asia Cup Super 4s clash at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. While the match which was earlier scheduled for Sunday, 10th September was moved into the reserve day after rain marred the scheduled day.

But the Men in Blue resumed their innings on the reserves day from 147/2 having played 24.1 overs earlier. But this resumption proved a plus point for the Rohit Sharma-led side as the two set batters in Virat Kohli and KL Rahul looked to stitch a 200-run partnership with both crossing their respective centuries.

 

Moments after KL Rahul registered his sixth ODI ton, Virat Kohli reached his 77th international and 47th ODI ton on Sunday, 11 September and jumped in air to celebrate this feat. Kohli also became the fifth man to cross 13000 ODI runs, being fastest in terms of innings to reach this feat.

Additionally, this ton for Kohli brought him to his fourth consecutive ton at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
