Following a commanding 133-110 win over the Houston Rockets, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors trolled Tari Eason for taunting him and his team in the build-up to the game. Tari Eason had tried to imitate the classic dialogue “Warriors, come out to play,” from the 1979 movie, The Warriors, to terrify and frighten the opponent, but to no avail.
At the Toyota Center in Houston, the Golden State Warriors put on a dominant display of basketball against the Houston Rockets, especially in the first half, taking a big lead of 66-50. In the second half, the Rockets were a bit better in attack, but their defense didn’t step up, which meant that the Warriors managed to register their 42nd win of the NBA season at their expense.
After Tari Eason quoted the infamous dialogue of “The Warriors,” albeit hilariously, the ball was in the court of the Golden State players, to which they had all the answers. Just after achieving the away win, Steph Curry took a dig at the taunting antics of Tari Eason, clinking three bottles together, which was yet another big moment from the 1979 movie, while sitting on the bench.
Moreover, Ime Udoka, the head coach of the Houston Rockets had spoken about Tari Eason after their win over the Phoenix Suns recently. He revealed that their 22-year-old forward will be out of action for four months because of a benign growth on his lower leg bone, which was a pre-existing condition flaring up after a hit.
Furthermore, Tari Eason underwent surgery on his injured leg bone on Monday, April 1.
