American hip-hop artists will.i.am and Lil Wayne has released a new song called 'The Formula' around Formula 1 after the recently concluded Miami Grand Prix. The Miami International Autodrome saw another Red Bull 1-2 with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez finishing on top ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso.
Talking about this new song will.i.am spoke about how motorsports have been one of his passion and deemed this partnership as ‘groundbreaking’. He also talked about how this song will bring the two faraway worlds of music and racing together creating new experiences for the fans.
While being quoted in a press release, the Black Eyed Peas singer said, “It’s exciting to bring my passions - performance car racing and music - together in this groundbreaking partnership. Our goal is to break the traditional mould of music and racing, creating unforgettable experiences that introduce new fans to the excitement of F1 and showcasing the world’s best artists and performers.”

The series now has three races scheduled in the USA - the Miami Grand Prix, the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas and the Las Vegas Grand Prix from Las Vegas. This also will be the first time that Formula 1 has held three races in the USA in the same season since 1982.
