In the first over of the fifth and final match of the series between Zimbabwe and India, Yashasvi Jaiswal became the first batter to score 13 runs off the first ball in an international T20I. The left-handed batter smashed a six off a no-ball to start the match before putting the free-hit ball out of the park at the Harare Sports Club in Harare.
After winning the toss for the first time in the five-match T20I series, Sikandar Raza, the captain of Zimbabwe, chose to field first. It led to Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag stitching together a vital stand of 65 runs for the fourth wicket, to bring India back into the contest. Riyan Parag scored 22 off 24 before he got dismissed while trying to take down the leg spinner Brandon Mavuta.
