The second innings of the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals got off to a stellar start for RR as Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed 26 runs off Nitish Rana's first over and then went on to score the fastest 50 in IPL history. After posting 150, the KKR captain wanted to start off the Rajasthan innings with a different bowler.

Hence he brought on himself but was greeted with a massive six over long-on. The next ball saw  Jaiswal go low and slog the Rana for a six over backward square leg. The next two balls of the over saw two consecutive boundaries before he took a double on the fifth delivery.

Then to finish off the over,  Jaiswal hit another crackling cut shot to pile up 26 runs for the over.  Jaiswal then continued his stunning form and went on to score 24 more runs in the next seven to reach a historic milestone. His knock included seven fours and three sixes.
