Although it turned out to be just a prank, IShowSpeed was genuinely frightened by what he had experienced moments prior, literally tearing up on camera for thousands and thousands of fans watching live on YouTube. The 18-year-old remarked that he thought he might have died, before vowing to do nothing with Arab again.

Here is the immediate aftermath of the kidnapping prank:
While speaking to Dexerto, Arab talked about the kidnapping prank, stating that he wanted to scare IShowSpeed with lethal weapons but didn’t go through with the plan because the stream was on YouTube and not Kick. He was quoted as saying, “Because it was a YouTube and not a Kick stream, they would have allowed that, we told them to do it with no weapons, just baseball bats and stuff.”

While IShowSpeed is not in any mood to forgive the fellow YouTuber for the kidnapping prank, Arab believes that it will eventually happen because of the viral nature of the stream. He also explained the nature of the kidnapping prank and the realism it portrays by saying, “As for the gang members, I believe it’s a sign that when you come in and show respect and you approve these people can be humane, a lot of the time their fights are with each other.”
“Don’t get me wrong, these guys can do bad things, it’s part of being somewhere lawless, but people need to stop being afraid of these places,” Arab added.
