Shabad Khan has been one of the top performers and a big reason why Pakistan find themselves in the T20 World Cup final in Australia. Due to his all-round performance in the ICC tournament, Shabad also finds himself on the Player of the Tournament list alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and others.

In his six innings, Shadab has already picked ten wickets at an average of 14.50 and played a couple of instrumental knocks rescuing the side in crunch situations. While the Men in Green will be up against England in the final of the T20 World Cup on November 13 (Sunday), the star all-rounder has made a stunning claim regarding India versus Pakistan which took place on October 23 (Sunday) at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

According to the Pakistani cricketer, India winning the Super-12 stage clash didn't mean they were a better side, in fact it was otherwise.

"We just wanted to give our 100 per cent. We knew if we give our 100 per cent, the result will come on our side. And that game, we gave our 100 percent. We didn't finish it but we knew that we are a better side than them," Shadab said in a chat with Naseer Hussain on Sky Sports.

Speaking about the magnitude of the fixture with India, the 24-year-old said that the clash between arch-rivals is a ‘big game.’

"It’s an intense game for both the teams. Since childhood, we think about it. Doesn’t matter about the other things, if we are winning the World Cup or not, we have to beat India. And the same pressure we are feeling now. That’s the pressure you carry. Doesn’t matter if you are playing or not," he added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan cricketer further admitted that skipper Babar Azam was under pressure before coming to the semi-final clash against New Zealand but he likes to take responsibility and score in high-stake games.

"He (Babar) is that kind of player. He likes to step up and score in a big game. But he was always hitting the ball well at nets and remaining positive throughout the low phase helped him to bounced back at the knockout stage. He will be once again ready to score valuable runs in the summit clash," Shadab added.

Pakistan will lock horns with England in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, on November 13 (Sunday).
