The Indian medal continues to tick after the Indian pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh bagged a bronze in 10m air pistol mixed team event on Tuesday, July 30. The Indian duo defeated the South Korean pair by 16-10 margin to register a comfortable win. With this win, Bhaker also became the first Indian athlete in independent India to clinch two Olympic medals in a single edition of the Games.

India’s mixed team consisting of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh on Tuesday, July 30 bagged second medal for country. The Indian duo defeated Korean duo of Oh Ye Jin and Lee Wonho by 16-10 margin to win bronze for India at the Paris Olympics 2024 at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre.

Indian medal prospects Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty took down Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto 21-13, 21-13 in the last Group C game of the Badminton men's doubles event at the Paris Olympics 2024. After already sealing the quarterfinal qualification, SatChi secured the top spot in their group with this win over the world number seven Indonesian pair.

India defeat Ireland 2-0 in men’s hockey at Paris 2024; enter quarterfinals

On Tuesday, July 30, the Indian men’s hockey team defeated Ireland comfortably by 2-0 in their third Pool B match at the Paris Olympics 2024. At the Stade Yves-du-Manoir, the captain of India, Harmanpreet Singh found his name on the scoresheet once again at Paris 2024, scoring two goals against an impressive Irish men’s hockey team. Jaismine Lamboria suffers loss by unanimous decision in RO32

Indian boxer Jaismine Lamboria had to settle for a loss by unanimous decision against Nesthy Petecio of the Philippines.  Lamboria struggled to find her accuracy across the three rounds and hence couldn't rack up significant points. Nadal-Alcaraz reach quarterfinals after hard-fought win in Round 2

Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal reached the quarterfinals of the men's double event in the Paris Olympics on Tuesday, 30 July. The duo beat Netherlands' Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof in a hard-fought match. The Spanish pair won their match via a 10-point tiebreaker after two sets. Alcaraz and Nadal won 6-4 in the first set but lost in the tiebreak of the second. When the match was pushed into the 10-point tie-breaker, the duo raised their level to clinch the game 10-2.
