Team India defeated Australia by 20 runs in the fourth T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur as Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma ran riots in batting. At the same time, the Player of the Match, Axar Patel swung a web around the Aussie batters. With this win, the Indian side took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match T20I series against Australia. Team India set a 175-run target while Australia failed to soak in the pressure as they scored 154 runs at a loss of seven wickets. Axar Patel picked three wickets while Deepak Chahar picked two wickets for India.

LLC 2023: Rikki Clarke stars as Urbanrisers beat Kings by seven wickets
Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad defeated Irfan Pathan's Bhilwara Kings by seven wickets with 15 balls remaining on Friday in the LLC 2023. Batting first, Bhilwara placed a total of 144 runs at a loss of six wickets as Tillakaratne Dilshan smashed 53-off-37 with 6 fours and a six, and Yusuf Pathan scored 34 ( 25) with three sixes and a four while Pawan Suyal picked up two wickets for Hyderabad. Rikki Clarke played an unbeaten knock of 73-off- 44, hitting two fours and seven sixes to help the Urbanrisers achieve the target in 17.3 overs.

Pakistan Cricket Board appoints former cricketers as consultant members
The PCB has confirmed the appointment of former Pakistan cricketers Kamran Akmal, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, and Salman Butt as consultant members to chief selector Wahab Riaz. The three have assumed their responsibilities in the selection panel with immediate effect. Their first assignment as consultant members to the chief selector includes the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand, set to commence on 12 January 2024 following the conclusion of the Test tour to Australia.
