After ending their 11-year-long title drought of an ICC trophy, the Rohit Sharma-led Team India have reportedly flown out of Barbados. Barbados PM, Mia Mottley on Tuesday confirmed that the airport operations are likely to resume in six to 12 hours and the World Cup winning team will travel to Delhi. Additionally, due to the delayed travel of Team India, the BCCI have added Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana in India’s squad for first two T20Is against Zimbabwe.

The Rohit Sharma-led Team India, who have been forced to extend their stay in Barbados are likely to fly out on Tuesday, July 2. The Barbados PM, Mia Mottley on Tuesday confirmed that the airport operations are expected to resume withing next six to 12 hours and the Indian team will fly as soon as operations are normal.

S. Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma & Harshit Rana added to India’s squad for first two T20Is against Zimbabwe

BCCI has named Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana as replacements for Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal for the first two T20Is against Zimbabwe. Originally slated to join the squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series, the trio will travel to India first with the rest of the T20 World Cup-winning squad before departing for Harare.

I have not retired from T20 international cricket: David Miller

South African batter David Miller took to social media to confirm that he hasn't retired from T20I cricket. The veteran Protea star posted an emotional message after South Africa's defeat in the T20 World Cup 2024 final. However, news surfaced that the Protean star has retired from the shortest format of the game but he shut down the claims. Miller, on his Instagram, said, "Contrary to reports, I have not retired from T20 international cricket. I will continue to be available for the Proteas. The best is yet to come."

Arshdeep shares before and after pictures post T20 WC 2024 victory

Arshdeep Singh showed off pictures he took before and after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 final in a video of the post-match celebration by the BCCI. Singh was spotted showing a couple of pictures of him which were taken before and after the final. While explaining these photos, Arshdeep Singh said, "That's what belief can do!"
