With the ultimate clash for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is just hours away from the start, the Men in Blue are grueling  hard in the nets to take on the five-time world champions, Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19, Sunday. World Cup winning captains will reportedly be felicitated with special blazers ahead of the ODI World Cup final between India and Australia on November 19, Sunday.  As per reports by Sports Tak, all the former skippers will be honoured with special customised blazers in the morning of summit clash to wear in the due course of the game.

Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough to officiate CWC'23 final  

ICC announced Richard Illingworth (England) and Richard Kettleborough (England) as the on-field umpires for the ODI World Cup 2023 final. While Illingworth was one of the two on-field umpires for the India and New Zealand semi-final, Kettleborough was there during the Australia and South Africa semi-final clash. Joel Wilson (West Indies) and Christopher Gaffaney (New Zealand) will be the third and fourth umpires.

Suryakumar Yadav to lead India in T20Is against Australia: Reports

Suryakumar Yadav is set to lead India in the T20I series against Australia after CWC 2023. SKY will lead, in the absence of Hardik Pandya, who suffered an ankle injury in the World Cup, as per Indian Express. The series will begin on November 23 in Vizag and finish in Hyderabad on December 3.

Hardik Pandya set to miss SA tour: Reports

The Indian all-round cricketer Hardik Pandya is reportedly set to miss out on the tour to South Africa after the home series against Australia due to an ankle injury. The 30-year-old sustained the unfortunate blow while diving to stop the ball in his follow-through during the ODI World Cup 2023 game against Bangladesh last month.

Sri Lanka government expresses regret to Jay Shah over Arjuna Ranatunga’s remarks

The Sri Lanka government officially conveyed their regret to ACC President and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah for Arjuna Ranatunga holding the former responsible for Sri Lanka Cricket’s decline.
