Batting first, the Tigers set a 174-run target as Hamilton Masakadza smashed 37-off-18 with two sixes and five fours and Thisara Perera smashed three sixes and a four to score 32-off-17 while Rajat Bhatia picked up three wickets for the Giants. In the second innings, Jacques Kallis (56), Chris Gayle (38), and Parthiv Patel (35) were the only batters to score in double digits as Parvinder Awana claimed four wickets to restrict the Giants at 163 for 9.

Shan Masood to lead Pakistan for three-match Test series against Australia
After a disappointing CWC 2023 campaign, Pakistan are scheduled to travel to Australia for a three-match Test series starting from December 14, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
