Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was granted a divorce on grounds of cruelty by his wife Aesha Mukerji through a Delhi court on Wednesday. The court judgement stated Aesha subjected Dhawan to mental agony by compelling him to live separately from his only son for years. Judge Harish Kumar of a family court accepted Dhawan’s allegations in his divorce plea against his wife.
Tim Southee ruled out of World Cup opener against England
After skipper Kane Williamson, New Zealand star pacer Tim Southee is set to miss the ODI World Cup 2023 opener against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Stand-in skipper Tom Latham has revealed that Williamson is still nursing his right knee, despite batting in both the warm-up games. On the other hand, Tim Southee, who suffered an injury in an ODI against England, is still recovering from a fractured thumb on the right hand.
