The young Indian opener Shubman Gill has been ruled out of India’s next fixture at the Cricket World Cup 2023. Gill, who tested positive for dengue on arrival in Chennai, missed the opener for Team India and will continue to remain under medical supervision in Chennai.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes is set to miss England’s match against Bangladesh in Dharamsala on October 10. England skipper Jos Buttler in the pre-match presser said, Ben Stokes has been “progressing well… he is doing more and more each day and seems to be improving.” “It’s good to see him back in the nets and building back towards fitness, but he’s probably unlikely” for next match, Buttler added.
