Batting first, Lucknow had a struggling start, failing to get going, and managed to post 165/4 as Ayush Badoni (55* off 30) and Nicholas Pooran (48* off 26) saved their side's innings. Then SRH, following their ultra-aggressive approach, chased down this total in 9.4 overs with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head playing unbeaten knocks of 75(28) and 89 (30) respectively.
