India after winning the five-match T20I series against Australia on home soil, will be touring South Africa for a three-match T20I series starting from 10 December in Durban at 7:30 PM. Here, in this article we will have a look at India's probable playing XI for the first T20I against South Africa.
Openers: Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill
Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has been the leading run-scorer in the five-match T20I series against Australia, is expected to open the innings for India in the upcoming three-match T20I series against South Africa.
Shubman Gill is expected to play in the place of Yashasvi Jaiswal as the team management wouldn't look to rest a big player like Gill after including him in the squad. Notably, Gill is not part of the ODI squad, hence there is a very less chance of resting him in the shortest format of the game.
