In the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, the teams that finish top eight in the points table (including the host Pakistan) will qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Now, if we look at the table already teams like Pakistan, India, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan have already confirmed their spot as they will definitely end inside the top eight in the ODI World Cup 2023 points table with all these sides having a minimum of 4 victories.
Now, bottom placed sides like England, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can end World Cup 2023 with a maximum of three victories, while Netherlands also at the moment have won only two out of seven games in this tournament so far. Hence from these remaining four sides only two of them will qualify for Champions Trophy 2025.
