Tamil Nadu batter N Jagadeesan took the stage by storm as he hit the highest score in List A cricket ever. The opening batter scored 277 off just 141 balls against Arunachal Pradesh as Tamil Nadu posted a mammoth 506/2. Jagadeesan has been in prolific form since the beginning of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. Jagadeesan also became the first player to score hundreds in five consecutive innings in men's List A cricket.

But this is not the first time Jagadeesan has shattered the record books. The Tamil Nadu batter has been consistently performing in the domestic circuit. Jagadeesan has over 2000 runs in List A cricket which he has scored at an average of 45+. Jagadeesan has scored these runs in 42 innings. In First-class cricket, the batter has scored 1261 runs in 26 matches. In T20 cricket, the Tamil Nadu batter has amassed 1064 runs in 46 innings.

Jagadeesan is yet to get enough exposure in the Indian Premier League (IPL) but in the limited games he has played, the right-handed batter has done decently. In 7 games, Jagadeesan has scored 73 runs with 39* being his highest score.
