The 20-year-old youngster Shweta Sehrawat smashed 242 runs for Delhi in the Senior Women's One Day Trophy and became a sensation today. Shweta Sehrawat was the vice-captain of the India U-19 women's T20 World Cup team which lifted the trophy in 2023.

Shweta Sehrawat was the highest run-scorer in the U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2023 tournament as she scored 297 runs from 7 innings at an average of 99 at a strike rate of 139.43. Shweta Sehrawat was part of the UP Warriorz team which finished in third place in the WPL 2023 season, but on a personal note, she had a disappointing season with the bat as she recorded only 34 runs from 6 innings in that edition.

Shweta Sehrawat as captain won the ACC Women's Emerging Teams Cup trophy in 2023 as well. Her leadership qualities found some eyeballs in that tournament and she was retained by the UP Warriorz franchise ahead of the WPL 2024 auctions despite not-so-great performance with the bat in the 2023 season. She was bought by the UP franchise for 40 lakhs ahead of the 2023 WPL auctions.

Shweta Sehrawat's became the first Indian women to smash a double hundred in List A cricket by scoring 242 runs in 150 balls in the match against Nagaland at Senior Women's One Day trophy. Sehrawat's 242 is also the highest recorded score by an Indian women's cricketer in all forms of official recorded cricket format.

Shweta Sehrawat's double century helped Delhi to beat Nagaland by 400 runs which remains to be the biggest margin of victory in Senior Women's One Day Trophy. Delhi's total of 455/4 is the highest ever total recorded in Women's Senior One Day Trophy.
