Sunrisers Hyderabad are taking on Lucknow Super Gaints in match number 8 of IPL 2025 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. LSG skipper Rishabh Pant won the toss and asked SRH to bat first in Hyderabad. The hosts SRH have decided to play the same lineup the chose in their previous game against Rajasthan Royals.
However, LSG have made one change in their lineup as Shahbaz Ahmed has been benched against SRH. The LSG all-rounder didn’t have a great outing in the last game against Delhi Capitals as he could only score 8 runs with the bat and went wicketless with the ball after conceding 22 runs in 1.3 overs.
Avesh Khan replaces Shahbaz Ahmed in LSG’s playing XI vs SRH
Shahbaz Ahmed didn’t get a chance in LSG’s playing XI in the ongoing IPL 2025 fixture against SRH. As his replacement, LSG have included fast bowler Avesh Khan in the playing XI. Notably, LSG fell short of experienced fast bowlers in the last game against DC as Shardul Thakur was the only spearhead pacer along with Prince Yadav. Now, with Avesh’s inclusion in the playing XI, LSG will be looking to have a great time with the bowling in front of SRH’s fiery batting line up.
