The Oklahoma City Thunder guard, Josh Giddey, was alleged to be dating an underage girl as per the viral pictures and videos posted by a user on the social media platform X. However, the Police in Newport Beach, California have closed the investigation involving the 21-year-old's alleged inappropriate relationship with an underage girl.
Giddey, who is the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double at the age of 19 years and 84 days, went viral on social media after his picture with an underage girl was shared on X in November last year.
Police clear OKC's Josh Giddey
The Newport Beach Police Department released a statement on X, "After a thorough and exhaustive examination, we have completed our investigation into information that was circulating on social media involving Josh Giddey. Our detectives have reviewed all of the available information and were unable to corroborate any criminal activity related to Mr. Giddey."

The Police launched an investigation into Giddey's case on November 29, days after the news surfaced on social media. After the police were unable to find any supporting evidence in the case, they decided to not pursue charges against the Oklahoma City Thunder guard.
