Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti shared the fitness update of Jude Bellingham, and also revealed whether the footballer will be available for the upcoming match for the club. Bellingham, the 21-year-old England international, suffered a neck injury in Madrid’s recent clash with Getafe. The game saw the Los Blancos take down their counterparts 2-0, and during the game, Bellingham scored a goal and notched an assist. However, with 45 minutes into the game, Bellingham was taken off the field, and it was revealed that the footballer was bothered by a neck issue.
After the match, it was revealed that the youngster sustained a neck blockage, which occurred during a collision with David Soria. While uncertainty loomed over his participation in the forthcoming match against Athletic Club, Madrid boss Ancelotti shared an update on his injury. He confirmed that the injury is not serious and is not likely to affect his availability for the upcoming game at San Mames on Wednesday. “Bellingham had a neck problem, he had it blocked and couldn’t continue. It’s a minor problem and I think he’ll recover in two days,” Mundo Deportivo quoted the manager as saying.

The Englishman stepped up and took the penalty instead of Mbappe, and made no mistakes while knocking the ball straight into the goal by beating goalie David Soria. Mbappe further doubled their lead in the 38th minute as he took a ball from Bellingham and netted it to score his 10th goal of the season across all tournaments for his new side.
