The Ashes 2023 finally ended in a 2-2 draw with the Australia winning the opening two Tests whereas England sealed the third and fifth with the fourth ending in a draw. The Ultimate Test champions retained the Ashes with the hosts running riot in the final session of the fifth Test and eventually beating the visitors by 49 runs.

To sum up the entire series, the Test champions sit at third place with 30 per cent and 18 points, whereas England is fifth with 15 per cent and nine points. However, this comes after the two nations were docked points in the World Test Championship 2023-25 Cycle.
Talking about the WTC table, Pakistan sit at the top of the table having won two matches and the series with 24 points. They are followed by India, who recently won 1-0 over West Indies and are second with 66.67 per cent with 16 points. West Indies take the fourth spot whereas Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka completing the top nine.
