The much-awaited Indian squad was announced which saw several surprises as players like Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal and Shivam Dube were picked. These incredible stars were often overlooked in the past but were selected for the T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies. But this selection was far more crucial for Chahal, who has been the leading wicket-taker for India in international T20Is and in the IPL.
But despite these feats, Chahal was ignored despite being part of the previous World Cup squad which eventually led to his absence from the Indian team. But since this selection, countless fans were overjoyed and expressed their delight on social media by sharing a large number of heartfelt messages for the Indian leg spinner.
