The second T20I between India and Sri Lanka saw batters enjoying a great time as it rained sixes at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. While Pathum Nissanka and Dasun Shanaka started the boundary fest, it was Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja who finished it. With a victory in the second game, India took an unassailable lead in the three-match series.

Jadeja played an important role in the win as he smashed an unbeaten 45 off 18 balls and also took the wicket of dangerous-looking Danushka Gunathilaka. So, he was sent to address the media at the post-match press conference. The all-rounder answered all the questions brilliantly. However, one thing that no one noticed but Irfan Pathan did, was Jadeja continuously blinking his eyes while answering the questions.

In a video shared by the BCCI, Jadeja is seen blinking his eyes at a very high frequency. Noticing this, Irfan Pathan suggested Jadeja to take eye-drops. The all-rounder also had a reply for Pathan as he clarified the reason behind his unnatural behavior. To Pathan’s “Baapu needs eye drops” comment, Jadeja replied, “Lense perya hata first time bhai shaab (I was wearing lens for the first time brother)”.

It seemed like a satisfactory answer to Pathan and the former all-rounder also praised Jadeja for his blistering knock. “Jevi rite batting chale che laage che ke binoculars pehrya che;) lage raho baapu (The way you are batting, it seems like you are wearing binoculars. Keep it up bro) ” wrote Pathan in reply to Jadeja’s clarification. Jadeja acknowledged the praiseworthy from his senior pro and wrote “thanks irfan bhai”.

Notably, Jadeja has returned to the playing XI in some style. He looks in fine touch as he is timing the ball to perfection. In his knock of 45*, the left-handed batter struck seven fours and a six.
