Mumbai Indians Skipper and Team India vice-captain Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 34th birthday today (April 30). Fans, friends, teammates and well-wishers took to social media to wish the swashbuckling opener and shared memories of the Indian opener. They also posted images and videos of the most memorable innings and moments from Rohit Sharma’s illustrious career.

Rohit is the most successful captain in the IPL history, having led Mumbai Indians to five titles – a feat that no other captain has achieved till date. He holds the record for the highest individual score in ODI cricket (264) and is the only  batsman to smash three double centuries in ODIs. An absolute nightmare for bowlers, Rohit boasts some of the most impossible records in world cricket.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) took to Twitter to post a video, which featured some of Rohit’s best shots, to extend birthday wishes. “Could watch this all day Happy birthday to the master of the pull shot, @ImRo45,” ICC captioned the video on Twitter.

Former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha shared a fun video from the past, wherein Rohit is seen enjoying himself by dancing in a hotel room.

The Mumbai Indians official Twitter page wished Rohit Sharma with the message, “Setting the stage on fire whenever and wherever he walks in – the name is Ro-HIT Sharma. Happy Birthday, Captain”
