Just like the Test series, the 1st ODI between South Africa and India has also been nothing short of any action and drama. The players of both sides have matched fire with fire in the last few days and they have made a point to show their anger and aggression whenever they have got an opportunity.
From Bumrah and Jansen giving it back to each other during the Test series, the ODI series is witnessing a new rivalry in making - Virat Kohli vs Temba Bavuma! The former Indian captain and the present South Africa skipper got involved in a heated conversation in the first innings when Kohli seemed to have thrown the ball towards Bavuma in anger.

Although things calmed down for the moment, it all resurfaced during the second innings when Kohli came to bat. The 33-year-old was looking in fantastic touch and was not giving any chance to the opposition to say something to him.
However, Bavuma finally got his opportunity to give a reply to what happened during his batting. As Kohli mistimed a sweep shot off Tabraiz Shamsi, the ball struck the bottom of the bat and looped up in the air and got straight into the hands of Proteas skipper. And while he did not choose to say anything to Kohli, it was his actions that spoke everything.

While Bavuma went on to score a brilliant century, Kohli could not really do the same for his side as he was dismissed after hitting an impressive half-century. Following his wicket, there was a mini-collapse for India that followed afterwards which put South Africa on top in 1st ODI.
