Spectators missing or catching a cricket ball or a baseball is quite common in the field of sports. At times some even raise the level with terrific grabs in the crowd and come into the limelight for a while. However, the recent episode of a fan taking a catch in the crowd is just the next-level thing as the fan didn't use only her hand to catch the ball but also involved her leg, though a prosthetic one.
It all happened during Chicago White Sox's home game against Detroit Tigers at Major League Baseball (MLB). A 27-year-old lady named Shannon Frendreis was sitting into the stands when a baseball travelled towards her. In no time, she had her prosthetic right leg in her hands and she caught the ball inside it with utmost precision.
Frendreis not only kept the ball with herself but also shared the clip of the remarkable catch on social media platform TikTok. She also revealed that she had drunk as many as five beers when she took the catch. "Five beers in and taking my leg off to catch a ball seemed like a great idea," Frendreis had captioned her post on TikTok.

"Took an arm and a leg to catch that ball," wrote a fan, while the other said, "Instead of hold my beer, it's hold my leg! Legend." Some even put humorous comments like: "I've heard of getting the upper hand but never getting the upper leg."
Talking about the game, Chicago White Sox defeated Tiger 5-4. They are sure to finish at the top spot in the American League Central, courtesy their 93 wins.
