T20 World Cup 2022 has produced some nail-biting surprises. While there have been some surprises for a few, there have been some upsets as well in the tournament. One such upset was seen during the match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe on Thursday (October 27).

The Babar Azam-led side suffered their second defeat in the tournament against Zimbabwe by 1 run. The team lost their first match against arch-rivals India on October 23 and gave away the game in the last over itself.

After these two back-to back losses, skipper Babar Azam’s old tweet from 2015 has now gone viral. Notably, Zimbabwe toured Pakistan in 2015 for two-match T20I series, followed by three-match ODI series. While the hosts won the T20I series 2-0, they also claimed the ODI series 2-0 with the last match ending in no result.

The Men in Green skipper had tweeted “Welcome zimbaway” as the team landed in the Asian country, however he has now been trolled for his spelling as well as the result which did not go down well with the Pakistan side.
