One of the most well-known esports leagues in India, Team 8bit, has unveiled its squad for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Regaltos, a star player who was formerly a member of Team Soul, has newly joined the team. Regaltos, who is known for his aggressive gameplay and clutch abilities, will team up with current 8bit players Juicy, Beast, Madman, and Mighty. Representing Team Soul, he finished second at the Skyesports Grand Slam: PUBG Mobile Invitational which was held in 2020.
Team 8bit is positive that their newly assembled team will succeed in the BGIS 2023, the second iteration of the illustrious competition run by Krafton. All Indian players who have attained at least level 25 and Platinum 5 rank in BGMI are eligible to compete in the BGIS 2023, which boasts of a prize pool of INR 2 Crore. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports website will be the only place to register for the competition between July 24 and August 2.
Talking about Team 8bit, they have already established their prowess in the competitive scene by winning the Ranbhoomi Invitational Tournament in June, where they defeated some of the top teams in the nation, including Blind eSports and Gladiators eSports.

Furthermore, to talk about BGIS 2023, the tournament will consist of several stages, starting from the in-game qualifiers to the grand finale on October 14. The top 16 teams from the semi-finals will compete for the ultimate glory and a share of the huge prize pool. The tournament will also feature individual awards such as MVP, Rising Star, and several others.
