India will be playing their 3rd Day-Night home Test beginning tomorrow (March 12) in Bengaluru. The Men in Blue have won both their previous pink-ball Test matches at home which were played in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. On both those occasions, the hosts were not even challenged with the opponent being Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens and England when the game was staged at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The second Test match against Sri Lanka of the ongoing series will be staged in front of a 100% crowd capacity. Axar Patel is expected to return to the Playing XI in place of Jayant Yadav while Sri Lanka might try to sneak in a spin bowler in place of a pacer. Sri Lanka batsmen will be facing a huge challenge against Indian Spinners with the pink ball and one can expect a result similar to the one in India’s previous two day-night Tests at home or the opening Test of the ongoing series in Mohali where Rohit Sharma & C0. stormed to a win in less than 3 days.
