As IPL 2022 mega auction entered the second day, it was always going to be quite exciting to see which franchises go after which player with such limited budgets. While there were some intense bidding wars, for players like Liam Livingtstone, Jofra Archer and Tim David, there were also a few brilliant picks by teams which went under the radar.
Here is a list of 1 steal buy for each of the 10 franchises on Day 2:
Devon Conway – 1 crore to CSK

The Kiwi left-handed batsman has been one of the most consistent batsmen in T20Is in recent times, with 602 runs in 20 matches at strike-rate of 139.3. To get the services of Devon Conway at base price was indeed a brilliant pick for Chennai Super Kings.
Sherfane Rutherford – 1 crore to RCB

The explosive middle-order batsmen, who has played for Delhi and Mumbai in past, has a strike-rate of 135.2 in IPL. Although he hasn’t really done justice to his talent, Rutherford is a game-changer and with his ability to contribute with ball as well, RCB did make a steal to get him at base price.
