Delhi Capitals will kick start their IPL campaign against five-time champions Mumbai Indians on March 27 at Brabourne Stadium, CCI. The franchise have gained a lot of momentum in last few seasons of the India Premier League, with impressive performances. Under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant, Capitals will look to better their chances in ten franchises’ affair this time around.
With David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Shardul Thakur and Mustafizur Rahman, the Delhi franchise looks like a strong team and will be hoping to outplay Mumbai Indians in their first clash. Capitals will have their next assignment against IPL’s new entrant Gujarat Giants on April 2 at MCA Stadium in Pune.
The Delhi franchise will play their 3rd and 4th game on 7th and 10th April against Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively. Their last league game will be against Mumbai Indians on May 21.
