The GTA 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026 in India, and ahead of the highly-anticipated launch, Indian players can pre-book themselves the game. It is now available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for pre-order. In addition, Rockstar has also confirmed the regional price in the sub-continent. 

The GTA 6 Standard Edition is priced at INR 5,999 in India and the Ultimate Edition would cost INR 7,499.

How to Pre-Order GTA 6 on PS5

To place your GTA 6 order directly through PS5, one needs to- 

  1. Open the PlayStation Store on your PS5 or visit the Indian PlayStation Store website.
  2. Search for Grand Theft Auto VI. 
  3. Select the edition as per your choice- Standard or Ultimate Edition. 
  4. Click on the pre-order option. 
  5. Make payment through your preferred method. 
  6. Once confirmed, GTA 6 will be added to your game library and will be available when the game is launched. 

How to Pre-Order on Xbox

Players need to follow similar set of steps to order GTA 6 through the Xbox Store. 

  1. Open the Xbox Store on your console or through the Xbox website. 
  2. Search for GTA 6. 
  3. Choose preferred edition: Standard or Ultimate. 
  4. Select pre-order and proceed with the payment. 
  5. The game will be linked to your Xbox account and will be available at the launch. 

Standard or Ultimate- Which Edition Should You Buy of GTA VI? 

It would be enough for most players to buy the Standard Edition priced at INR 5,999 considering it includes the full experience. The pre-order bonus makes it the better-value option. 

However, if you are someone looking for an additional set of exclusive options, choose vehicles, weapons, outfits, customization and other bonus content, go with the Ultimate Edition.
