Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is undoubtedly one of the most popular and anticipated video games ever. It not only promises to take the open-world gaming to a whole new level, but also brings back the popular Vice City with modern graphics and realistic effects. Notably, the extended footage of GTA 6 was streamed on Netflix last month and was exclusive on the platform for nearly six hours. Speaking about the game, it enables a player to play as two main characters, Lucia and Jason as they complete their missions. 

Ahead of its highly awaited release, GTA 6 pre-orders went live in India as of June 25, 2026 via platforms such as PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Store and other major Indian retailers. GTA 6 Release Date 

The game will launch in India on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It would be available in two editions for both the platforms including-

  1. Standard Edition: Priced at INR 5,999, this edition would be a full single-layer game with all story content and open world of Leonida and Vice City. There would not be any missions or areas locked behind the Ultimate paywall. 
  2. Unlimited Edition: The model will be priced at INR 7,499 which would include everything that comes in Standard Edition as well as exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits, and more. 

Key Highlights of GTA 6

The game is based in the fictional state of Leonida, inspired by real-world Florida. The playable world is expected to be 2.1 to 2.6 times larger than GTA 5’s map, though the official confirmation is awaited. The key highlights of the GTA 6 map includes- 

Return of Vice City- The game brings back the charm of Vice City with its iconic location and a denser urban environment. 

Multiple regions- The game enables players to explore small towns, farmlands, swamps, and rural highways. 

Ever Changing Weather- It has a dynamic weather system which brings realistic rain, thunderstorms, day-night cycles, and so much more to give it a realistic feel. 

3-D Interiors- One of the most favourite features, the game has multiple enterable and explorable locations. 

Larger Map- Vice City and Leonida combine to make a map that is significantly larger than GTA 5’s Los Santos and Blaine Country.
