The South African opening batter who played a crucial role in IPL 2022, helping CSK lift the trophy, had smashed 633 runs in that season (2nd highest after Ruturaj Gaikwad). Currently, CSK wasn't able to retain him in their side for IPL 2022 ahead of the mega auctions and he was bought by RCB for a huge price of 7 Crore. He is also being considered as an option to lead the Bangalore-based franchise in the upcoming edition.
22 - Both Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal have taken 22 wickets against Mumbai Indians in IPL.
Interestingly in IPL 2022, both Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will be playing for Rajasthan Royals.
