The 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen some of the most exceptional displays of batting right through the course of the season. There have been new scoring records established by the IPL teams, with the batters showcasing their ability to hit boundaries at will, pulverising the bowlers in the process.

Phil Salt played a massive role at the top of the order for Kolkata Knight Riders, helping them become a major force in the ongoing IPL 2024 season. In his 12 appearances for KKR before leaving to play for England in preparation of the T20 World Cup 2024, he scored 435 runs at an average of 39.54 and a strike-rate of 182, including four fifties.
