India and Pakistan matches have always carried a different kind of fan following across the globe. India's ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin shared a hilarious insight from the India vs Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2023. In the third match of the ongoing mega-continental tournament, India took on Pakistan in a highly anticipated mouth-watering clash on September 2, 2023.
During the match, the Tamil panel of the official broadcasting channel, Star Sports, was enjoying the game of 'Antrakshari'. Notably, the Tamil panel consisted of former cricketer and 1983 World Champion Krishnamachari Srikkanth, sports presenter Pradeep Muthu, along with former cricketer and actor Sadagoppan Ramesh.
Ashwin took to Twitter and wrote, " They are playing Antakshari on star sports Tamil.😂😂😂 #INDvsPAK".
Speaking of the game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. While the Men in Green enjoyed some early success, including Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan build a brilliant 100+ run partnership to rebuild India's innings.
Team India's innings came to an end after the Men in Blue managed to put up a score of 266 runs in 48.5 overs. On the Indian side, Hardik Pandya remained the highest scorer with a score of 87 runs in 90 balls, followed by Ishan Kishan who scored 82 runs in 81 balls.
