The highly-anticipated Asia Cup 2023 is around the corner and fans are eagerly waiting to see arch-rivals Indi a and Pakistan squaring off against each other. Despite moving their fixtures to a neutral venue, Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blues will have to sport "Pakistan" written on their jerseys for the continental showpiece.

Although the ICC has accepted the BCCI's demand of shifting India's matches in the Asia Cup 2023 to a neutral venue considering the security concerns and political relations between the two countries, the tournament is officially hosted by Pakistan.

The teams participating in the contest have to sport an Asia Cup logo on their jerseys for the 2023 edition and it has come to notice that the name of the hosts will appear at the bottom of the logo with the edition. The Indian cricketers will have "Pakistan" written on their jerseys as a mark of respect for the host nation.

Talking about the schedule, Team India are scheduled to face hosts Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2023 opener at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka on September 2. India, Pakistan, and Nepal are placed in Group A while Group B includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka as the two top-placed teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
