Additionally, the tournament will mark the first big event to be held at Chennai's Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium since India's second Asia Cup victory in 2007.
India will host the Champions Trophy for the first time this year. The current champion is South Korea after they won the 2021 edition after a thrilling final that went down to penalties, while India and Pakistan each have three victories under their belts.
