Match 1 Summary:

The first match featured intense competition between four groups: Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D on the Erangel map. Team 8Bit emerged as the winner, securing total of 24 points. 

Meanwhile, WSB Esports delivered an impressive performance by securing the highest number of finish points using the new powerplay rule of the competition. Their aggressive playstyle earned them 16 finish points, making them a standout team despite not securing the WWCD. Individually, Juicy and Mac from Team 8Bit performed exceptionally, helping their team secure the win.

Match 2 Summary:

Match 2 on the Miramar map featured Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group E. Carnival Gaming won the match, securing 17 overall points. Hector leads his team to the first WWCD of this season after getting the leadership. 

Vasista Esports shows consistency, delivering an impressive performance in both matches and securing the second position. Individually, AK becomes the MVP of the match with 6 finishes.

Opening Week: (July 19th–21st, 2024)

24 teams are divided into 6 groups, competing in a round-robin format for 3 match days. After all matches end, the top 18 teams from the overall standings will qualify for League Week.

The bottom six teams also have a chance to qualify for "League Week" through audience voting. After the Opening Week matches end, voting will occur for the bottom 6 teams. The top 2 teams from the voting results will advance to League Week, joining the top 18 teams. The remaining 4 teams will be eliminated from BGMS Season 3.
