Ever since India cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a story with the text “New Life Loading…”, fans have become Sherlock Holmes as they have started speculating the story behind it. They got a lead in Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree Verma’s Instagram account where she has removed the “Chahal” surname from her bio. This made people think that there is something not fine between the couple.
This speculation and rumor got fuelled up when a news flash from three ANI accounts claimed that the couple has filed for divorce in a Punjab court. “Breaking: Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Actress Dhanashree Verma files for divorce in Punjab Court,” read the news flash from ANI. This created a ruckus among fans as they started reacting to the news.
With so many reactions pouring in, the cricketer started trending on Twitter. Shortly, the news flash from three “ANI accounts” reached the real social media handle of the news agency and they were quick to acknowledge the situation. ANI posted an update on Twitter saying that the accounts impersonating as the news agency are fake and no such news has been flashed. “Please note: All three are fake accounts impersonating ANI. No such news has been flashed,” tweeted ANI.
