Formula One star Charles Leclerc applied to represent Monaco in an international music contest in an unconventional and hilarious manner. The Ferrari racer said that he is up for the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest, as Monaco is eligible to participate in the competition for the first time since 2021. It was in 2006, when the country competed in the music contest.

As the news started floating on social media, the 25-year-old reacted to one of the articles. Leclerc, who won his first Grand Slam at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, wrote that he is ready for the same. Replying to the article, the Ferrari racer wrote, "I’m ready".

Notably, after 2006, Monaco withdrew from the competition due to their poor performance and failing at three chances to qualify for it. Now, they are back in the 2024 edition of the Eurovision Singing Contest with the launch of TV Monaco, and as it is a member of the European Broadcasting Union.

The love and passion that the Monegasque carries in his heart for music is not hidden from his fans and followers. Earlier, this year, during an interview, Leclerc revealed that he had taken piano training in childhood, and during the pandemic, he made full use of his time and got back to his old memory. He said that playing piano keeps him fresh and helps him keep this mind off things.
