It was a bright day for the Indian contingent on Saturday (30 July), as they added three medals to their tally. The experienced players were clinical with their performances to deliver an excellent day for the country. The day started with Silver medal in weightlifting and ended with gold in the same event. Table Tennis
Earlier in the day, India Women’s team beat Guyana 3-0 to advance to the quarterfinals. However, they failed to reach the subsequent stage after losing 2-3 to Malaysia.
India Men’s team dominated Northern Ireland 3-0 in Group 3.
Swimming
Men's 200m Freestyle- Kushagra Rawat finished in the eighth position.
Cycling
Women's Sprint Qualifying: Mayuri Lute and Triyasha Paul finished at 20th and 23rd positions respectively.
Men's 4000m Individual Pursuit Qualifying: Vishavjeet Singh and Dinesh Kumar finished at 18th and 19th positions respectively.
Women's 3000m Individual Pursuit Qualifying: Meenakshi finished at the 15th position.

Men's 61kg Final- Gururaja won a bronze medal with a total lift of 269 kg
Men's 55Kg Final - Sanket Sargar clinched silver medal
Women's 49kg Final- Mirabai Chanu won the first gold medal for the Indian contingent.
Boxing
Men’s 57kg- Mohammad Hussamuddin beat South African Amzolele Dyeyi 5-0 in Round 1.
Lovlina Borgohain won her opening bout 30-27 30-27 30-25 30-25 30-27 against New Zealand’s Ariane Nicholson to sail through the quarter-finals.

Mixed Team Event - Group Play Stage - Group A: India secured a 5-0 victory against Sri Lanka
Squash
India no. two squash player Ramit Tandon unfortunately had to give a walkover to Christopher Binnie of Jamaica due to back strain.
Sunayna Sara Kuruvilla lost 0-3 to Aifa Azman in the Women's Singles Round of 32.
Joshana Chinappa won 3-0 against Meagan Best in the Women's Singles Round of 32.
