Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor was accused of a sexual harassment to a women at a Dublin hotel in 2018. Now, after six years, the case has reached high court, where the woman accusing McGregor for a sexual assault sought financial damages against the MMA star on Tuesday, November 6. However, McGregor’s spokesperson denied all the allegations made on him. 

The alleged incident reportedly took place on December 9, 2018, while the civil case was filed in 2021. The woman said in her testimony that she told Conor McGregor that she wasn’t comfortable being left alone with him in a bedroom in the penthouse suite of the Dublin hotel. “I tried to talk him around. I wasn't there for anything like that. He just wasn't taking no for an answer,” the woman was quoted as saying by Outlook.

Conor McGregor denies all allegations related to sexual assault 

In his defense, Conor McGregor also claimed that what happened between him and that woman was consensual. His spokesperson also denied all the allegations stating that the Irish police has investigated the matter and couldn’t find any criminal charges. On the other hand, Daniel Keane, who works as a gynecologist stated that the woman was shaking and crying when was brought by the ambulance a day after the alleged assault. 

Daniel Keane also works as an forensic examiner in sexual assault cases. He revealed that he found bruises all over the woman’s body and said that it was quite unusual. Women’s lawyer John Gordan also told the court McGregor pinned her down the bed. “She will tell you that she was nervous, that she tried to push him off her but she was completely unable to do so,” Gordon said.
