Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo blew kisses to fans who mocked him with ‘Messi... Messi’ chants after Al-Nassr’s 0-3 loss to Al-Hilal. Ronaldo’s Saudi Pro side locked horns with arch-rivals Al-Hilal in a top-of-the-table clash. However, despite having the football great by their side, Al-Nassr faced a humiliating loss at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
Ronaldo, who has been a match-winner for his side in several notable clashes, made it to the headlines once again in the Friday clash. Fans started chanting ‘Messi.. Messi’ in front of him but the former Real Madrid ended up laughing. Not only this, but he ended up blowing kisses to the fans while walking off to the dugout. Ronaldo’s reaction instantly went viral on social media, and several fans reshared it on their timelines.

Coming back to the game, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic registered the first goal of the game in the 64th minute, which was followed by a brace from Aleksandar Mitrovic (89', 90+2'). Al-Hilal stepped into the game without their star player Neymar, but clearly, his absence didn’t matter to his side.
In the current 2023-2024 season of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Hilal have secured the top spot in the standings with 41 points. Following them are Al Nassr with 34 points and Al Ahli Saudi with 30 points. Ronaldo joined the Saudi football club during the winter transfer window. Premier club Manchester United canceled his contract after his controversial interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.
