Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo made a shocking move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr after Premier League club Manchester United terminated the Portuguese's contract. Ronaldo has signed a record-breaking contract with Al-Nassr wherein he will reportedly earn $200 million a year. The Saudi Arabian giants are currently placed in the second spot in the league standings as the top two teams directly qualify for the AFC Champions League group stage.
On the other hand, AFC has granted one spot for the Indian clubs in the Asian Champions League, and the 2022-23 ISL winners, Mumbai City FC clinched direct qualification after beating the 2021-22 winners, Jamshedpur FC 3-1 at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri.
Although Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are just three points away from the first-placed AL-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League standings, there is good news for his fans back in India.
