With the UEFA Euro 2024 kicking off on June 15, host nation - Germany has unveiled their squad for the continental tournament. The German national team has undergone a turbulent period over the last few years with a group-stage exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup and a Round of 16 finish in the previous Euros.
Ahead of the Euros, Germany will play two warm-up games against Ukraine (June 4 - 12:15 a.m. IST) and Greece (June 8 - 12:15 a.m. IST). Then in the showpiece tournament, Germany will kick off their campaign against Scotland in Munich before games against Hungary (Stuttgart) and Switzerland (Frankfurt).

Talking about the squad, Aleksander Pavlovic, Maximilian Beier and Alexander Nübel will make their international debut. Beier and Pavlovic were both previously called up to the national team in the March international break but didn't make an appearance.
The most significant absentee will be Mats Hummels. The Borussia Dortmund centre-back has been one of the club’s best defenders as they defeated Paris Saint Germain to reach the Champions League final. Instead, Nagelsmann picked Eintracht Frankfurt’s Robin Koch.
