The 2022 IPL champions Gujarat Titans have been in the news over the few days as they wished Shubman Gill the best of luck for his endeavours. The netizens took to social platforms by storm raising concern and anger with this apparent decision to release one of their best-performing players from the previous edition.
But today, the Gujarat Titans all the confusion, through Instagram Live, where it was revealed that the 2022 Champions will be collaborating with one of India’s most iconic fashion events in the Lakme Fashion week. In this Instagram Live, Shubman Gill along with Sai Sudharsan & Abhinav Manohar were discussing the big reveal and the role fashion plays in their life.
In this light-hearted conversation, a question was raised about who in their team was the best-dressed player throughout the 2022 season. Reply to this query, Gill named the team’s Captain Hardik Pandya and GT’s designated finisher David Miller as his best-dressed teammates for the 2022 season.
Looking at Shubman’s choice David Miller may like a slightly left-field option but there are no two thoughts for Hardik Pandya as he has been known as one of the most flamboyant athletes in the world. Pandya showcased his love and passion for high fashion as he walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019.
The Indian all-rounder donned a maroon attire as he walked the ramp with actress Lisa Haydon and noted designer Amit Aggarwal. Sharing a video of the event on Instagram, Hardik said: “Rocked the ramp at LFW with @r.elan.official and @amitaggarwalofficial. Great collection made even better to wear with R | Elan fabrics and amazing craft of Amit Aggarwal. The best of @lakmefashionwk (sic)."
Meanwhile, the Lakme Fashion Week official Twitter account also shared pictures of Pandya’s ramp walk.
